The Master Bedroom
| David Theomin's
dressing room leaves you in no doubt that this is a male's dressing
room. The powerful green influence represented by the fireplace
tiles and furniture blend into this durable, yet masculine atmosphere. |

The twin brass
beds and the elaborately embroidered bedspreads were typical of
the Theomin's taste for fine furnishings. The master bedroom continues
the Sheraton theme. Once again, with no built-in furniture, the distinctive
wardrobes, dressers and tallboys dominate the room. |
| The Axminster
rugs on the floors of both rooms are a Green and Abbott design from
Oxford Street, London. This firm was also responsible for much of
the interior decoration throughout Olveston. |

The rose frieze
promoted the panelling effect of the green suite. The original wallpapers
were manufactured in Buffalo, New York, USA and were selected by
the Theomins on one of their trips to America. The master bedroom
and dressing room were restored in 1997. |
